Passengers will soon notice a big change at Sydney Airport, especially those who love their fashion.

The T1 International terminal is now home to several high-end stores with Balenciaga, Prada and Saint Laurent just to name a few.

The stylish new stores are part of the airport’s luxury shopping precinct, which is set to be fully completed by mid-2023.

The brands that are yet to follow are Cartier, Celine, Dior, Gentle Monster, Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Valentino and Versace.

The 19 have agreed six-year lease terms through 2027. Among the stores, Louis Vuitton’s will be the largest: the brand’s first travel retail store in the southern hemisphere.

Louis Vuitton’s first travel retail store in the southern hemisphere and the brand’s largest

independent travel retail store in the world and the first Gentle Monster store in Australia and

New Zealand,” Zaouk said.

Once completed in mid-2023, the venue will showcase more than 2,700 square meters of luxury retail.
