One of McDonald’s most popular promotions with hundreds of prizes up for grabs, the Monopoly game, is back this week.
The promotion runs from August 31st and will continue until October 18th, giving people more than six weeks to become one lucky winner.
The prize pool is worth a whopping $578 million, and customers can play through the MyMacca app and for the first time.
This means that burger lovers will be able to earn MyMacca’s Rewards points on eligible food and drinks while playing the Monopoly Game.
Prizes include a Volkswagen Polo GTI, with five years of care, valued at more than $46,000, as well as gift cards to The Iconic clothing website, Experience Oz coupons with Red Balloon and Webjet worth up to $10,000.
Ten lucky customers will win the equivalent of free Macca’s for a year, while there’s a free year of pet sitting from Pet Barn and $20,000 worth of car rentals from Budget.
Another big price is $4000 worth of free fuel from Ampol, while there are millions of items like free fries, hamburgers and other menu items to be won instantly.
Other prizes include fitness equipment, camping, hotel stays, cooking appliances, and electronics like wireless speakers.
There is a one in four chance of getting a prize.

“We are excited to offer more than 58 million prizes this year, in a variety of categories, from travel, vacations, cash, camping and outdoor activities to fitness and electronics.
“The prize pool is worth over $500 million, so go ahead and get ready to play by downloading and registering on the MyMacca app!”
Winners of last year’s iconic $10,000 coupon, Julian, 26, from Wentworth Point, revealed he dropped his food when he discovered the prize he had won.
“I was working the night shift and my co-worker talked me into going to McDonald’s for dinner and he was explaining the MyMacca app to me while we ate,” he said.
“When I finished in the morning I redeemed my tickets and saw that I won a voucher for The Iconic although I didn’t look at how much.
“A week later, I received an email saying that the coupon I won was worth $10,000; I literally dropped my food on the floor in shock and immediately called my family.
“Winning the Monopoly game at Macca’s has been amazing. I’ve been able to help my family buy them new clothes and now I’m ready to get birthday presents for a while.”
To win a prize, all customers need to do is go to any Macca’s in Australia or order a participating McDelivery product and redeem it through the MyMacca’s app.
